Back on Track – Today’s focus is strength endurance development for pullups ( trying a new program from the Strong Endurance seminar in Chicago with a twist ) and Snatch power endurance development.

Pullups – 7 reps (1/3 RM) every 3 minutes until form and/or reps miss ( so I did 4 sets )

Snatch – 15 sec on/15 sec off for 10 minutes with 24kg bell for 6 reps every 15 seconds on – total 120 reps

Now what I did was to repeat that sequence 2 more times as such:

Pullups – 7 reps (1/3 RM) every 3 minutes until form and/or reps miss ( so I did 3 sets )

Snatch – 15 sec on/15 sec off for 10 minutes with 24kg bell for 6 reps every 15 seconds on – total 120 reps

Pullups – 7 reps (1/3 RM) every 3 minutes until form and/or reps miss ( so I did 3 sets )

Snatch – 15 sec on/15 sec off for 10 minutes with 24kg bell for 6 reps every 15 seconds on – total 120 reps

I will progress this as follows:

Pullup – keep 7 reps until i can complete 4 sets per series

Snatches – stay with format until it becomes “easy” which means not a concern to finish.
